Hi, my name is Nellie Thwaites. I was born sometime in 2004. Mommy and I first met at Atlanta Pet Rescue, which is a shelter located in mid-town Atlanta. Mommy and I would see each other on Monday's when she volunteered. Sadly, I was surrendered by my previous owners because they didn't appreciate me for the great dog I am. Mommy and I bonded and after six months and she finally took me home forever. I have trust issues resulting from the way my previous family treated me. Mommy and Daddy are very patient and have given me the time and space I need to adjust to my new home. I have made some improvement and have started to realize how much I enjoy love and attention from my new parents. My favorite pastime is chasing squirrels! I have a huge backyard, love to dig holes, and run around like crazy. I'm know to be accident prone, but Mommy and I have come to terms with these added expenses. When I'm inside, I'm on guard and protect the house with Casino as the muscle. Life is really good.
